Eagle Landing Golf Course to host
1st Annual Mini-Golf Invitational on Saturday September 15, 2018

Portland, OR – September 15, 2018: On Saturday September 15th Eagle Landing Golf Course will host their 1st Annual – Chick-fil-A – Mini Golf Invitational with a portion of proceeds benefiting CASA for Children of Multnomah, Washington, and Columbia Counties. Eagle Landing boasts 36 holes of beautifully maintained, nature inspired miniature golf. The facility is designed to offer both beginning and avid golfers alike an experience unlike anything else in Oregon.

This event is the only one of its kind in the Pacific Northwest. Players can visit Eagle Landing as often as they like prior to September 15th to qualify for the event. Scores will be recorded at the pro shop and golfers will be placed on a leader board. Qualifying players will be notified and can come practice prior to the event at a discounted rate. Entry into the invitational is $45 and includes a shirt, putter and ball rental, and lunch provided by Chick-fil-A. $3,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, as well as most hole-in-ones.

A portion of the proceeds raised from the event will go to benefiting CASA for Children of Multnomah, Washington, and Columbia Counties. A CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) passionately and tirelessly works to guide a child who has experience abuse or neglect through the trauma of the court system. Oregon law gives CASAs unusual authority as a ‘party to the case’ so that they are able to ensure that the foster care system does not ignore a child’s needs and that the judge has the information to act in the child’s best interests. A CASA is trained to work with judges, social workers, teachers, foster parents, and family members to ensure that the safety and well-being of the child is front and center.
