Brian Johnson found his perfect stroke to light up the Pineapple course on Saturday. Congrats Brian.
On saturday, Brian fired a 158 for 5 rounds to tie the all time low for the south carolina open. He and Rick Baird now share the record.
On Sunday there was only one language to talk about, “English” Gary English, round after round lit the course up in Match play to take the victory.
The final four saw some fantastic play on a beautiful Sunday. Brian Johnson, Vanette Block, Randy Reeves and Gary English. Vanette took down the medal play champion from saturday and Gary English won over a very consistent Randy Reeves.
In the Final Match it was evident that Gary wasn’t settling for second place. All day long though Vanette Block rolled in putt after putt. English was not to be denied though.
